Libraries using Social Media

There is a whole range on different ways libraries can use social media tools to promote their services. Stonnington Library Service use its Facebook account to promote its upcoming events and its collection as well as intersecting programs and projects provided by other council departments.


The State Library Victoria uses its Twitter account effectively as a tool to start conversation and promotion of its exhibitions, programs and collection development.


NSW public libraries have banded together to create a Pinterest which allows all the library services to share programs and events all across New South Wales.
